Our SA friends who used to live close by have moved to Cannock and as we had not seen them for a while we decided to spend two nights there so that we could have some R&R and catch up on all the happenings in our lives. Sue,(nee Greaves)was part of Douglas' congregation when she was a teenager in Empangeni. It sure is a small world.
We had 3 train trips to get there and that was a bonus as we love the trains. Unfortunately the local taxi forgot to pick us up to take us to the station but came when we called to check what was happening. (We got a free ride) It did mean we had a +/-5min to get to the station in time.

On the way back we had 4 minutes to get through the subway to the next platform at Ely but once again managed by the skins of our teeth. Notwithstanding these hiccups we had a good time.
