After the voting we caught the tube to Heathrow as we needed to see where we had to be today. When we arrived in the UK we had come into Manchester so had never had the Heathrow experience. We were very impressed. We first went to Terminal 1 because that was where Henrik would land. We then took the free train connection to Terminal 5 where Evelyn and Evangeline were due to arrive. We discussed where I would meet up with Douglas after he had met Henrik and then we caught the Hotel Hoppa bus to our Hotel where we were to spend the night. We were exhausted so had an early night but then woke at 04h00 this morning having slept out. The bus was due at 05h40 so we did not have long to wait and then Douglas left me At terminal 5 as Evelyn's plane had landed and he went off to Terminal 1 to meet Henrik. An hour after the plane had landed my dream came true and Evelyn and Evangeline were in my arms. They had had fun when on landing they were told to stay put in their seats as security and police were boarding the plane. The police arrested a man and then they were allowed off the plane. As Vera said when I text her, "It was just like in the Movies". We waited another hour and then Henrik and Douglas joined us and then we waited some more for the taxi to arrive to take us all back to Downham Market. Needles to say we talked non stop and once home they all had a rest while I took Douglas to do some pastoral visiting. All in all, a very busy day but what a HAPPY DAY. The Manse is alive and I am enjoying getting to know Evangeline again. She is such a happy little person so its a joy to sit on the floor and play with her. I do miss interacting with little children.
