Douglas had an all day Synod on Wednesday so I went to Kings Lynn by bus and had a great time there walking around the shops at my leisure. On Thursday we had to attend one of the Village's Coffee morning which was a lovely time of Fellowship. We got back to the Church in Downham just at lunch time and because we had missed our fortnightly lunch the day before we decided to have lunch at the Social Center. As usual the food was great and as I walked around the garden I noticed the loyal workers tending the gardens. I managed to persuade two of them to let me take their photo for the Blog. They are all doing a wonderful job. The Daffodils have been super and now the Tulips are also beginning to open and the violets cover a wide area along the side of the building. Spring is in the air at Downham Market Methodist Church.
