Yesterday we caught the train to London so that Douglas could vote. Because of some miss hap my registration did not happen so I was not able to vote but instead sat on the steps for over an hour waiting for Douglas to cast his vote. I love watching people and there were many to watch. There was hardly room to walk on the steps and the pigeons were everywhere. They do not seem to be stressed by all the people and the noise. I was glad that the fountains were under repair. They also make a lot of noise and as there were two concerts happening the music was loud enough without the added noise of flowing water.
