Today was a very busy day because Douglas had 3 services. The day started early as the first service was at 08h00 in Downham Market and the last one was at 15h30 in one of the villages. My Taxi duties were well used taking and fetching Douglas and then ferrying us around. The second morning service was in one of the village churches that I had never been to because the last time Douglas had a service there was when I was in Holland. What a lovely church it is but oh so very cold. It is the first time that we have kept our coats on during the service (Douglas did not so he was very cold) It was a Covenant service so included communion which was appreciated by our visitors. Having the 2 services in the different villages also gave our visitors the opportunity to see more of the area which they found interesting. Today has been one of the coldest days since we have been in the UK so we hope that tomorrow will be a bit warmer. We are so grateful that we have a warm house and a car that has adequate heating which makes life possible even in cold weather. It is also a blessing that we have the space to be able to welcome visitors into our home and know that they will be comfortable visiting us.
