Here I am on the move again. Yesterday I arrived at Newark airport after a 13 hour flight from Dubai where I had enjoyed a 22 hour stay in a 5 Star hotel free of charge. Viv, Jenni and Terri were there to meet me and even though the man pushing the wheel chair had 3 other chairs to manage, he still got me through Border Control and Customs in about 30 minutes after arrival. The flights were uneventful and I managed to sleep quite a bit because of the medication I am on for my hip pain. Unfortunately one of the side effects of the medication is nausea so I could not enjoy the wonderful selection of food provided on the flights and at the hotel but what I did manage was delicious.
After unpacking I had a nap, which seems to be the order of the day these days and then we went to the Fazio home for Pizza and cake to celebrate Angie's 19th Birthday.

We had already started eating by the time Steve got home from work so having photos taken was not a problem. After lots of talking and sharing memories of different celebrations it was tome for the cake. Terri had made a Black forest cake that had candles that glowed with coloured flames when lit. There was also a cheesecake that Angie had requested. While enjoying the treats I managed to get Steve to promise to make me his special buttermilk pancakes one day. (More memories)
After desert it was time from group photos and i noticed that Terri avoided being in the shots because she like me, took the pictures. Angie enjoyed our singing and said she had been spoilt by her sisters who had done a makeover of her bedroom as a gift for her. She rushed upstairs to take a video clip so I could see the new room without having to climb any stairs.
After a while Viv and I returned to her apartment to have an early night in anticipation of her Birthday celebration today. We both woke up early as a result, hence this Blog post.
