Once the congregation had left Viv and I got a lift to the house with Estelle and Martin, Alan's parents, Jamie's grandparents. We uncovered all the eats and made ourselves some very welcome coffee while waiting for the rest of the family and other guests. The lounge area looked lovely with balloons and of course all the snacks.

Once the family arrived we had even more to eat because the Kiddish left overs came with them. Having so recently eaten everyone settled down to chat and catch up while enjoying some coffee.
After a while snacking started again. The children were happy to play on the trampoline until they decided that swimming would be better. There was much splashing and excitement because the water was rather cold but they soon discovered that moving around in the pool kept them warm and of course there was the Spa where they could rest and be warm. Before changing into casual clothes there been the usual photo shoot.

Viv & I were asked to join the family. |
The tea party soon became the supper party and in the end it was a late night for everyone. Some of the visitors helped with the tidying up before they left so by the time we all went to bed the place looked spick and span once more. A happy event to store in my memory bank. A big THANK YOU to the Simon family for helping me feel at home and for including me in their family. They were all very interested in my stories and you know me, I do like to talk.
