Jubilee Songs of Praise at Hilgay

This afternoon we went to Hilgay for the Songs of Praise Jubilee Celebration.

Everyone enjoyed singing the Hymns and songs as well as the fellowship with each other.

The church was full

After the service, where Douglas presented everyone with a New Testament,

we enjoyed a celebration Tea (supper).

Downham Market delegation

We had a good delegation from Downham Market and other parts of the Circuit.

Seasons

While in the UK we enjoy the changing seasons.

We are now enjoying the start of the Winter weather and scenery. The trees are loosing their leaves . The days are much shorter and it is not unusual to have darkness start at 15h30 and last till 07h30 the following morning. The winds are cold and the skies are overcast with frequent rain and mist and the temperatures are much lower. Soon we will see frost every morning and maybe even some snow but with central heating we are always warm sometimes even warmer that during the Summer when the heating is off.
