Going Walk-about

Although it is very cold, it is quite sunny at times so we decided to go walk-about. Douglas took me on a route that he knew, a scenic route.

We walked across fields and along lanes but once we reached the tarred road was when we saw some wild life. Two people were walking their horses along the road. Then in the distance we saw something else but we could not be sure what they were until I uploaded the pictures and then - sheep - not what we had expected at all.

 Sharmie always tell us that on a clear day she can see all the way to Ely from her kitchen window. Lovely open spaces. A joy to behold.

 Across the open field we could see the houses in the Clackclose area that we pass when we go by bus to Lynn.

 To reach the main road I was taken along this very narrow lane between two properties. Never even knew it was there but Douglas did.

Nature has provided for the birds so maybe we are in for a more severe Winter period as the days go by.

This bush is rather confused by the weather. It thinks it is Spring.
