Last night we attended a concert at the church and after the event I decided to use the facilities at the vestry where we had gone to collect the hamper that Douglas had won. A memory from of what my mom used to say to me as a child came rushing back to me " Don't forget to pull the chain when you have finished!". I used to say this to my own children until I realized that they did not know what I meant as we no longer have any chains to pull and so I had to change it to "Don't forget to flush when you have finished". I was wrong there are still places that do have chains that need to be pulled.
