The first reception at the palace has come to an end and the crowds waiting were in for a treat. The friends and colleagues of Prince William did a fly past in one of the Search and Rescue helicopters just as he drove out with his bride. He was driving his father's Aston Martin that had been decorated with ribbons and balloons. They did not have far to go as they drove next door to Clarence house for well deserved a rest before the next reception at the palace this evening. What a hectic and exciting day.
