Today the Yons were flying back to SA. After an early lunch snack we took a taxi to Heathrow. We were so happy that the airliner had decided to strike later in the week so their flight was not affected. The trip was good. Rachel fell asleep after the Granny, the Grandpa and the Mommy had sung several songs. Bradley sat in the front and chatted to the driver and before we knew it we had arrived at Terminal 5.
We had checked in online so all that was needed was to drop of the hold bags and then go through security. A kind lady offered to take a group photo of us so we had a good memory of the event. Once we had the call that they were through security Douglas and I took the tube back to Kings Cross and then the train to Downham. The house is very empty and we are tired but glad all went well and that they are seated together in good seats with plenty of leg room. Our prayers have been answered and now we wait for the SMS to say they have arrived in Johannesberg. The next important event is the birth of the new grandchild in the Netherlands who is due tomorrow.
