106. Our first experience of Car Boots Sales

Today we had a Harvest Festival in Stoke Ferry. This was well attended with a good display of Harvest Produce and we enjoyed a lovely time of fellowship and refreshments after the service.
On our way home we had to pass through Wereham where we noticed a Car Boot Sale in progress. We had never been to one so decided to make a detour and see what it was all about.
As well as all the cars with their display of good for sale, we found the usual ice cream van as well as some pony rides. We decided that we had spent enough but never the less bought some Fish and Chips for our lunch before heading for home so I could see the Grand Prix on the TV.
Once home we got the message that Brendon, Wendy and Owen had arrived safely in Holland and once again a miracle needs to be recorded as they each had their own seat so could get a fair nights sleep. God is good.

Wow Mum, you and Dad never cease to amaze me with you ability to pick up bargins. Owen and Rachel are going to have a blast with all those toys during their forthcoming visits.
I will be updating the blog tonight with some of the pictures of the top tots dads and grandparents day.
