Today we decided to use our bus passes and take the bus to King's Lyn. It was a very good experience. We drove to the local bus terminus and parked our car in the church grounds the took the bus to King's lyn. We did not have to pay anything because we had our Senior's bus passes. The trip took 30 minutes and we got off in the center to the town and spent a good 2 hours wandering down the shopping streets. We had a hot chocolate at the Wimpy and bought sandwiches at Sainsburies for lunch. There were a variety of little shops as well as a few of the major stores so we did quite a bit of window shopping. We were surprised to see a bicycle ambulance parked outside the one shop but did not see the paramedic. Tomorrow we are off to London by train to meet up with a family from Mtubatuba. He is the minister of Grace Community in Mtubatuba and we are excited because their baby was born after we left so we can't wait to see them again and meeting the little one will be a bonus.

The bicycle ambulance is a trial scheme, Kings Lynn is the first place in the country where they are based. The results have been good so far!!!
