We are into our fifth year in the UK and still we get excited when we see the snow fall.
This morning I heard a strange shout from the kitchen and went running there in case Douglas was choking only to discover him standing at the kitchen window looking at the snow.
Huge flakes were falling but as it had rained during the night these flakes melted on contact with the ground. After a few minutes they did start to collect on the grass and cars but this did not last long before the rain started again. It was -2 outside so I hope we don't have black ice on the roads when I have to drive to the care home at lunch time.
