Today we had the farewell to our Superintendent minister. It started with a bus trip from London Road Methodist Church to Terrington St Clements to fetch David and Christine.
This was a surprise outing for him and we were all thrilled that he was so happy even though we had to sit in the hot bus while he examined the bus before climbing aboard.
Soon we were off. The first stop was Hunstanton where we had a chance to walk along the promenade and enjoy some ice-cream. We saw the ponies ready to offer rides to the many children who were enjoying the first day of their school holidays in the lovely sunshine.

I did not know that Lavender came in two colours. |
The second stop was at the disused Royal railway station at Wolferton where we once again were given a chance to walk around.
