On a Sunday in August, after Douglas had lead a Communion service at one of the village chapels, he came home and had a stroke. Today, 7 months later, he went back to the same chapel and lead another Communion service. He needed assistance with the reading of parts of the liturgy but, as he had been guided by the speech therapist, he was able to read the important "Thanksgiving" section that has to be read by a minister during these services in the Methodist Church. We praise God for the healing that has taken place.
