As we walked to the station to meet the Minister from Norwich, who was joining us for the Ordination service, we were treated to a parade known as the "Orange Men's parade". There were several bands and everyone in the parade sported something Orange. Young and old took part so this is sure to last for many years to come.
The service in the Cathedral was every moving and as there were nearly 1000 people there, you can imagine how great the singing was although I did find the organ music to be rather loud. Sally looked good and I found I was close to tears as she made her vows. It always means more when one knows the person and the path they have trod to reach this goal.
