Today was our Day Off so we decided to go to the beach. We had never been to Wells by the sea nor Fakenham so decided that we would go there. We took the bus from Downham to Kings Lynn then changed buses and took the Coast Hopper to Wells by the Sea. We enjoyed a lovely long walk there as well as a yummy lunch and a ride on the little train. Douglas loves trains so we always do the train thing when we can. It was very interesting to sea where flood waters had reached and what plans that had made to prevent flooding in the future. Having completed our tour of wells we caught the next bus to Fakenham and walked through the streets there as well as visiting the Church. We were feeling very hot and rather tired so were glad to get the bus back to Kings Lynn where we once again changed buses and took the last bus of the day to Downham. I was fascinated to notice little bunnies on the dreaded roundabout as we passed by very slowly because of the build up of traffic. So glad I was not driving.
