22. The grass is being cut

Today is our day off and it is a bitterly cold and wet day. We decided to stay home and catch up on the "To Do" list. One of our dedicated congregation members came and cut the grass for us. Douglas spent his time pulling up weeds which was not too difficult because the ground was so wet. We tested the heating system and found it to be more than adequate and so the house is lovely and cosy. Guess where I am. Yes I have not ventured out except to take a photo or two. We also plan to pack the various boxes, that came with our computers etc.,into the garage. The high chair has been cleaned and is ready for Owen's first visit and the car seat covers have been washed and are drying next to a radiator in the extra en suite. I have washed the few toys I bought and the last task will be to complete the Manse inventory before our items arrive on Tuesday. I just need to serve coffee to the hard working males and then I can rest up for while. My bed and a book are calling me but I resist that temptation and get on with the inventory.
